Mirror Wardrobe

Full-height mirror shutters that double as dressing mirrors — perfect for compact bedrooms.

About This Option

A mirror wardrobe puts full-height mirror onto one or more shutters, removing the need for a separate dressing mirror and visually doubling a compact bedroom. Mirrors are backed with safety film so the glass holds together if it breaks, and framed or profile-edged so no raw edge is exposed. Placement matters more than most people expect: we position the mirrored shutter to reflect light from a window rather than face the bed directly, which many homeowners prefer for both comfort and Vastu reasons. On sliding systems the mirror shutter is weight-checked against the channel rating, and on hinged systems the hinges are upgraded to suit. A pull-out or swivel mirror panel inside the wardrobe is an alternative if you want mirror access without it dominating the room. Combining one mirror shutter with laminate or acrylic across the rest usually gives the best balance.
