About This Option

Glass finish shutters use toughened, back-painted glass bonded to a board substrate, giving a flat, non-porous face that reflects light and never absorbs oil or stains. The colour sits behind the glass, so it cannot fade or scuff the way a surface coating can, and cleaning is a single wipe. We specify toughened glass with sealed aluminium or PVC edge profiles to protect the perimeter, and keep panel sizes and hinge counts within safe weight limits. Glass performs best on wall and tall units where daily knocks are less likely, and pairs neatly with matte or woodgrain base units for contrast. Choose it for compact kitchens that need to bounce light around, and for homeowners who want a finish that still looks new after years of cooking.
