PVC panel ceilings that resist moisture — a practical choice for kitchens and bathrooms.

About This Option

A PVC ceiling uses interlocking hollow panels clipped onto a light framework, and its single real advantage over gypsum and POP is that it does not absorb water. That makes it the practical choice for bathrooms, utility areas, balconies, kitchen ceilings and covered outdoor spaces where humidity or a slab leak would ruin a plaster finish. Panels arrive pre-finished in white, woodgrain and marble prints, so no painting is required and the ceiling can be installed and used the same day. Individual panels can be unclipped for plumbing or wiring access and refitted, which is genuinely useful under a wet slab. The trade-off is appearance: joint lines between panels are always visible and the finish reads lighter than plaster, so we do not recommend PVC for main living areas. Framework is specified corrosion-resistant with ventilation left where dampness is expected.
