About This Option

Ambient lighting is the base layer that lets you see and move through a room comfortably, and getting it right is mostly about quantity and spacing rather than fixture style. We calculate the requirement from room area and use, then distribute recessed spots, surface fittings or cove washes at even spacing so there are no dark corners and no single bright pool under a central fixture. Beam angle matters as much as wattage: wide-beam fittings at the correct spacing give even coverage, while narrow spots leave scalloped shadows across the walls. Colour temperature is held consistent through the layer, usually around 3000K in living and sleeping areas, because mixing warm and cool sources in one room is the most visible lighting error in Indian homes. Circuits are grouped so you can light part of a room without switching everything on, and dimming is planned wherever a space is used both day and night.
