About This Option
PET shutters are finished with a polyethylene terephthalate film laminated onto a board core, giving a smooth surface with much of the depth of acrylic but a softer, less mirror-like reflection. The film is scratch-resistant, does not yellow under sunlight the way some coatings do, and is recyclable, making PET a practical middle ground between laminate and acrylic. We edge-band all four sides, specify a moisture-resistant core for the sink run, and match shutter tone to your countertop so the kitchen reads as one composition. PET is available in solid colours, metallics and woodgrains, in both high gloss and matte. It suits busy Indian kitchens that want a premium surface without the daily fingerprint upkeep of full gloss acrylic.
